Drunk driving accidents, shoplifting and car burglaries reported in Bridgewater

BRIDGEWATER, NJ – Bridgewater Police released the blotter for incidents dating back to May.

May 11 around 1:15 p.m.: Shaniqua Green, 42, of Summit, was arrested for shoplifting at Nordstrom Rack, located at 362 Chimney Rock Road. Green stole store merchandise worth $599.97. A subpoena has been served and Green has been released with court pending
appearance.

June 14 at 12:19 a.m.: Eric Shaffer, 48, of East Stroudsburg, PA was arrested for DWI after being
involved in a single vehicle accident on Highway 202/206 at the intersection of Brown Road. Shaffer received the following warnings: impaired driving, refusing to submit to breath tests, failing to maintain the lane, reckless driving and reckless driving. He was released with a court appearance.

June 16: A victim reported that a vehicle was stolen from his driveway on Loft Drive. The victim reported that the 2020 Range Rover was parked in the driveway and the vehicle keys were left in a second vehicle which was also parked in the driveway but left unlocked.

June 26 around 3:35 p.m.: Robert Peterman, 43, of Keansburg, was arrested for shoplifting and obstructing arrest at Target, located at 200 Promenade Boulevard. peterman flew
store merchandise worth $718.09 and then provided a fake name to law enforcement. A subpoena was served and Peterman was released with a pending court appearance.

June 28: A victim reported that his vehicle was broken into while it was parked in the parking lot of the
Chimney Rock Park. The victim had parked his vehicle and when he returned around one o’clock
An hour later, they discovered that a window had been smashed. Someone pulled the victim’s purse from the vehicle.

June 28 around 7:18 p.m.: Marie Quinga, 29, and Ana Bonilla, 53, both of Piscataway, were arrested for shoplifting at Target, located at 200 Promenade Boulevard. Quinga and Bonilla stole merchandise from a store worth $412. The subpoenas were served and they were both released with a pending court appearance.

June 29: A resident of Amsterdam Road reported that someone had stolen a rainbow flag which
was hanging from a pole in front of their residence.

July 5 at 11:38 p.m.: Jorge Martinez-Garcia, 57, of Bud Lake, was arrested for DWI after a
motor vehicle stop on route 202/206. Jorge Martinez-Garcia received the following warnings: driving while impaired, driver without a license, not respecting the lane, driving recklessly and driving in the opposite direction on a one-way street. He was released with a court appearance.

July 10 around 11:48 a.m.: William O’Connor, 56, of Keansburg, was arrested for shoplifting at Home Depot, located at 400 Promenade Boulevard. O’Connor stole merchandise from the store worth $543.67. A subpoena was served and O’Connor was released with an pending court appearance.

July 11: An employee of Bloomingdale’s, located at 410 Commons Way, reported that his vehicle had been broken into. The victim indicated that his vehicle was parked in the parking lot and locked. The actor(s) smashed a window and removed the victim’s purse from inside.

July 12: A resident of Somerset Avenue reported that his vehicle had been broken into. The victim
informed that their vehicle was parked in their driveway and not locked. The actor entered the vehicle and pulled out a duffel bag which contained nothing of value.

The 15th of July : A victim reported that his Caterpillar skid steer loader was stolen from a parking lot on Route 22. The victim indicated that he still had the key to the machine in his possession.

The 15th of July : A victim reported that his vehicle was stolen from a car park on Finderne Avenue.
The victim reported that his 2019 Honda Accord was parked in front of his residence. The
the vehicle was locked and the victim had both sets of keys.

July 19 around 3:26 p.m.: John Vidra, 49, of Brigantine, Pennsylvania, was arrested for shoplifting at Target, located at 200 Promenade Boulevard. Vidra stole store merchandise worth $497.67. A subpoena was served and Vidra was released with a court appearance.

July 20 at 2:50 p.m.: Marilee Boughner, 68, of Somerville, was arrested for DWI after being
involved in a car accident on East Main Street. Boughner received the following warnings: impaired driving, failure to maintain lane, open container in vehicle, careless driving and reckless driving. She was released with a court appearance.

August 1st : A victim on Milltown Road reported the theft of his vehicle’s catalytic converter. The vehicle was parked in the parking lot directly in front of the company.

August 1st : A victim reported that his Honda dirt bike and Kawasaki ATV were stolen from the backyard of their residence on Milltown Road. The victim indicated that the keys were left in both vehicles.

August 2 around 11:45 a.m.: Kenneth Schnorrbusch, 55, of Sayreville, was arrested for shoplifting at Target, located at 200 Promenade Boulevard. Schnorrbusch stole merchandise from the store
valued at $597.71. A subpoena was served and Schnorrbusch was released with a
pending court appearance.

August 7 at 4:30 a.m.: Mitch Nyamwange, 37, of Edison, was arrested for DWI after he was found traveling west in the eastbound lanes of 22 Road Street. He was released with a court appearance.

August 16 around 4:35 p.m.: Joseph Delnegro, 51, of Keansburg, was arrested for shoplifting at Home Depot, located at 400 Promenade Boulevard. Delnegro stole store merchandise worth $284.98. A subpoena was served and Delnegro was released with an pending court appearance.

August 16 around 4:58 p.m.: Sebastin Moon, 31, of Freehold, was arrested for shoplifting at Home Depot, located at 400 Promenade Boulevard. Moon stole merchandise from the store worth $682.97. A subpoena was served and Moon was released with court pending
appearance.

August 19: A resident of Loft Drive reported an attempted break-in to his vehicle. The resident was alerted by his Ring camera to movement in his driveway. While examining the camera, they observed someone trying to open the door of their vehicle. The vehicle was locked and the subject was
unable to enter.
