Brick, NJ – Two teenagers injured in Dirt Bike crash on Lanes Mill Rd near Millbrook Rd

Brick, New Jersey (April 01, 2022) – Brick Township police were at the scene of an accident between an SUV and a dirt bike that injured two teenage boys on Wednesday, March 30.

At approximately 8:40 p.m., a 14-year-old was riding a 2002 KTM Enduro four-stroke dirt bike with a 16-year-old passenger southbound on Lanes Mill Road in the Millbrook Road area when he collided with an Acura 2016 MDX decelerating to turn left onto Millbrook Road.

The impact ejected the two teenagers from the dirt bike.

The 14-year-old driver then fled on foot but was later found by police at his home.

The 16-year-old dirt bike passenger was taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center where he was treated for unspecified internal injuries.

The 14-year-old driver also suffered unspecified internal injuries.

The two occupants of the Acura emerged unscathed from the incident.
