American Flat Track: Arai continues to be the official AFT helmet – Roadracing World Magazine

Progressive AFT and Arai Helmet renew their official partnership

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (March 4, 2022) – Progressive American Flat Track today announced that Arai Helmet, Inc. will be the official helmet of Progressive AFT for a fifth consecutive season in 2022.

Arai is widely recognized as the world’s premier helmet manufacturer, and its countless motorsport successes in championships such as Progressive AFT, Formula 1 and MotoGP bear witness to this. Arai has provided elite two- and four-wheel athletes with safety, comfort, technology and style unmatched for generations.

“Arai has been the go-to helmet for flat-track racers for decades,” said Gene Crouch, COO of Progressive AFT. “There is nothing more important in racing than a good safety helmet, and no manufacturer understands the needs and wants of riders better than Arai. Arai’s dedication to safety, craftsmanship and quality is truly impressive.

Arai Helmet is a three-generation Japanese family business specializing in the manufacture of high quality motorcycle helmets. Its mission is simple and has remained unchanged since its creation by Mr. Hirotake Arai in the 1950s: protection without compromise. To date, and for more than seven decades, Arai has accumulated protection gains one by one, even if only a little. Rather than seeking profit, Arai is driven by a desire to produce a better helmet to protect its fellow riders.

Each helmet is meticulously handcrafted with proprietary materials and technology and rigorously twice inspected before shipping. That’s the Arai difference: quality and craftsmanship for the protection of motorcycle enthusiasts. You can find out more here in their “Value of Arai” video:
